SWITCHING CLUBS    Dave Preston, former director of tennis for Countryside Country Club, returned to the area in February and is now teaching at Cheval Country Club. In June, Page Buck, former teaching pro at Seminole Lake Racquet Club, assumed Cheval's director of tennis position. COLLEGE NEWS    Phil Girardi, director of tennis for Treasure Bay Golf and Tennis, began his third season as coach of St. Petersburg College women's team. Last year's squad won the state championship to qualify for the national NJCAA in Tucson, Ariz. St. Pete College team - Seminole High grad Maureen Figley on far right. NATIONAL TITLE COLLECTOR    Larry Turville, formerly of St. Petersburg, competed in his first 60-and-over national tournament and won both singles and doubles in the USTA National Men's 60 Clay Court Championships in Duluth, GA.  Larry has collected 38 national titles, including 16 in singles and 22 in doubles. HONORING BOBBY    Anyone involved in junior tennis in Florida and around the nation knows Bobby Curtis. This December, at the USTA Florida annual meeting at Clearwater Beach, Bobby will be celebrated for his 30 years of passionate service as he retires from his full-time position with the section.
